March of Remembrance 2015
TEARING DOWN WALLS ... BUILDING BRIDGES
The March of Remembrance is a connecting point for people everywhere who wish to pray together and remember the Holocaust at our annual Memorial observance.
We will Honor and Remember the victims and Survivors of the Holocaust through music, liturgy and prayer.
Following a short service beginning at 2:30 on the steps of Fullerton City Hall, we will do our one mile Walk of Remembrance through downtown Fullerton.
Each year we have organized the March of Remembrance for Orange County, CA first in the City of Orange and now in Fullerton, our new home. The movement has been growing in Europe and North America.
Our prayer walk, held on Yom HaShoah (Day of Holocaust Remembrance), seeks to honor all who suffered in that time by breaking the silent indifference of our own time.
Our objective is for the religious community of Fullerton to stand with the Jewish people in remembrance of the victims and survivors of the Holocaust. The religious community remained, on the whole, silent during the Shoah. It is time to raise our voices and not be ashamed.
